Supporting the Library

There are many ways to donate to the Nakusp Public Library. We welcome your time, material donations, and financial gifts. While local and provincial funding sustain the library’s core services, numerous donations from individuals and organizations help make the library the vibrant and special place that it has become.

Friends of the Library

Throughout its history, the Nakusp Public Library has enjoyed vital support from many volunteers: in 2010 alone, volunteers contributed over 1,200 hours to the operations and projects of the library! Some of these volunteers work a regular shift when the library is open, while others work on special projects or events.

Book Donations

The Library welcomes donations of books, videos or DVDs, and CD audiobooks in good condition.  Whenever possible, please phone ahead to 250-265-3363 to find out if it’s a good time to make your donation.
