CBT Community Initiative Vote
One of the projects requesting funding from the CBT Initiative Grant is a new sign for The Centennial Building. But what is “The Centennial Building”? It is unlikely Nakusp residents and visitors know the location of this historically significant structure simply because there is no noticeable sign. The Centennial Building houses the Public Library, the Museum, and the Arrow Lake Historical Society and Archives.
Many may also not have known about all the building’s occupants, as the current sign only mentions the location of the Library and Museum, making no reference to the Archives or Historical Society. Did you know there was an elevator-lift for accessibility to the Library and Archives? All of this information will be clearly displayed on the new proposed sign.
We need your help to receive the funding for this project! Come down to the Nakusp & District Sports Complex, Saturday May 4th between 12pm and 4pm to VOTE!
